Saturday & Sunday, Apr. 29–30, 2006 — 10AM–2PM: Exciting news! Tesseract will be singing on the main stage near the entrance to Six Flags Great America (up near Chicago). Come hear us sing and enjoy the park!
Saturday, Apr. 29, 2006 — 7PM: We'll be opening for The Cutting Edge show choir at their show in Lincoln Hall Auditorium; find ticket prices here!
Fri.–Sat., Apr. 21–22, 2006: Tesseract, with new bass Kellen Fant, will be competing in the Illinois District's Collegiate Barbershop Quartet Championship in Peoria, IL. The adult quartet Four Fours, with Steve on bass, will compete in the adult division.
Sunday, Apr. 9, 2006 — 12PM: We'll be singing the national anthem to open the Illini Men's tennis meet at Atkins Tennis Center. Come hear us and stay to cheer on the team!
Saturday, Apr. 8, 2006 — 7:30PM: Tesseract will be singing, with its shiny, new bass Kellen Fant, on No Strings Attached's show at the auditorium in Lincoln Hall.
Sunday, Mar. 5, 2006 — 3PM: Both Tesseract and the as-yet-unnamed quartet with the elderly Steve on bass will be singing at the Illini Statesmen's Spring Concert at the Krannert Center's Great Hall.
Friday, Mar. 3, 2006 — 7:30PM: We will be singing an arrangement (by our very own Chris Rishel) of "Illinois Loyalty" with UIUC's Symphonic Band II to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the song's premiere. The concert will be at Foellinger Great Hall; buy your tickets now!
Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006 — 7PM: We'll be singing the anthem at the gymnastics meet at Huff Hall.
Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006 — 2PM: We'll be singing the anthem at the Illini Women's Basketball game.
Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006 — 7PM: We'll be singing the anthem at the Men's Basketball game against bitter rival MSU.
Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2005 — 7PM: We have been invited to sing the National Anthem at the Illini Men's Basketball game against Texas Southern. Come hear us and stay to cheer on the Fighting Illini!
Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005 — 7:24PM: We competed at Ryan's dorm floor talent show and won despite some excellent performances from the other participants. When are you taking us out to dinner, Ryan? ;)
Friday, Oct. 28, 2005 — 7PM: Tesseract will be giving its first performance with its new tenor at the UIUC Concert Choir's benefit dessert and auction event. It will be held in one of the ballrooms at the Illini Union; tickets are about $6, doors open at 7:10PM!
July 14, 2005 — 8PM: We sang an arrangement by our baritone, Chris, of "Green Eggs & Ham" from Seussical to provide some pre-show entertainment for the Champaign-Urbana Theatre Company's production.
June 30, 2005 — 8PM: We've been invited to sing with The New Tradition at a sort of send-off dress rehearsal for the upcoming International Convention. It'll be in Lake Zurich, IL, so check it out if you're in the area!
July 3, 2005 — 2PM: Look for us at Oak Fest 2005 in Oak Forest, IL! (Update: See photos from the gig!)
July 6–10, 2005: Tesseract is heading to the International Convention to represent the Illinois District in the 2005 MBNA International Collegiate Barbershop Quartet Competition. The competition is at 11AM (yes, AM) on Friday, July 8th at Salt Lake City's Salt Palace Convention Center. See you there!
April 30, 2005 — 6PM: The quartet will be appearing with the Singing Men of Note on their spring show. The show will be held at Andrew High School in Tinley Park, Illinois.
April 23, 2005 — 6PM: An composition recital by Wes Alexander will feature a song that Wes has composed for Tesseract. You'll want to catch the whole show, though!
April 17, 2005 — 7PM: We'll be opening for No Comment's show at the Illini Union's Courtyard Café. Tickets just $3!
April 16, 2005 — 7PM: Tesseract will be competing in the Illinois District's Collegiate Barbershop Quartet Contest for a chance to represent Illinois at the international competition this summer. Come see us perform at the Peoria Civic Center!
April 11, 2005 — 7AM: Tesseract performed on Champaign's WIXY 100.3 for Barbershop Harmony Day. Thanks for having us on, WIXY! Hopefully they'll be using the jingle we recorded for them...
April 10, 2005 — 3PM: The quartet was featured on the Illini Statesmen's spring show at the Krannert Center's Great Hall.
March 13 2005 — 7PM: Tesseract performed a few songs for the University of Illinois Concert Choir's very successful benefit dinner.
February 27, 2005 — 6PM: The quartet sang most of their repertoire at a talent show hosted by the lead's church in Savoy, Illinois.
February 27, 2005 — 12PM: We were honored to sing the national anthem to open the Illini Women's Basketball game.
February 18, 2005 — 6PM: Our first performance! We did a short "halftime" show for an Illini Women's Tennis match.
